    Rick,

Just wanted to drop by and give you an update of what I’m up to. I just began an internship at an organization in northern CA called the Sierra Friends Center, which runs a semester boarding school program for high school juniors, seniors, and gap year students called the Woolman Semester. Being here is getting me all excited and nostalgic about my Open School days, as this is a very radical, experiential, self-directed learning environment!

I would love to catch up sometime. I haven’t really kept up with what’s happening at the Open School over the last few years, and I assume you probably have. I’d be interested in hearing your impressions about how it has changed or stayed the same since my time there.

    I hope you are well!
    Peace,
    Andrew
